Founding
Located in Bolton, Connecticut, Able Coil was established by Ken Rockefeller to meet a growing need for high-quality coil winding and assembly services. With extensive expertise in electromechanical assemblies and a hands-on approach to manufacturing, Ken built Able Coil on the belief that precision, reliability, and fair pricing should go hand in hand.
New Leadership
When Steven Rockefeller assumed the role of President, he brought a vision to grow Able Coil into a trusted, long-term partner for its customers. Guided by a commitment to precision, integrity, and competitive pricing, Steven continues the belief that doing things the right way builds lasting relationships.
Expansion & Growth
Driven by a focus on continuous improvement and ongoing investment in people and technology, Able Coil expanded into a new, state-of-the-art facility in 2020. Together with our original location, we now operate in more than 40,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space, equipped with advanced winding and assembly equipment. As we look ahead, Able Coil remains committed to strengthening our processes, equipment, and capabilities to stay at the forefront of technology and support sustained growth well into the future.
